Other add ons require IMAP (full) access to your inbox. This is relatively dangerous, compared to the way how we get access to user data. We make use of OAuth2, which relies on temporary access to only certain parts of the google user account. IMAP gives full access to the inbox and also requires to store an app password that may remain valid for a very long time.
We do not store any unnecessary email data, only the essential information needed to unsubscribe.
We have passed a security review before this add on could be published.

We will not sell or share any of your data to third parties. This is due to a strong personal conviction that online privacy is a fundamental human right. Regardless, if we ever were to become corrupted; EU GDPR regulations could have very strong repercussions for us, as we are based in The Netherlands. This is also why unroll[dot]me is not available in Europe.
We do not store the content of any emails! Only metadata, such as the message ID and methods to unsubscribe from a newsletter. Read more about our privacy policy.
