About Emails from Change.org Petitions

Change.org sends emails about petition updates, signature requests, campaign victories, recommended petitions based on your interests, and promoted campaigns from organizations. Once you sign a petition, you may receive ongoing updates about that cause and related petitions.

Using Unsubscribe for Gmail™, you can easily filter out Change.org petition recommendations and updates while keeping notifications for causes you actively support. This tool helps you manage advocacy emails without losing track of campaigns you care about.

How to Unsubscribe from Change.org Petitions emails

If you are ready to try out Unsubscribe for Gmail, just sign in with your Google account. You can also easily install it by going to the installation page on the Google Workspace Marketplace.

• Navigate to the Scan Inbox page from the main menu and click on Start scan.
• The scan will begin and may take several minutes to an hour, depending on the number of emails in your mailbox.
• Once the scan is complete, the subscriptions will be listed on the subscriptions page.
• Select the Change.org subscriptions you wish to unsubscribe from, block, or keep.

Manage Change.org emails at change.org > Settings > Email Preferences to control petition updates, recommended campaigns, and victory notifications.

How long does it take to get started?

You can get started with Unsubscribe for Gmail™ straight away! Simply install the addon from the Google Workspace Marketplace. Once installed you can do a scan, and you will see all your subscriptions. Simply select the ones you don't want anymore, including those from Change.org Petitions. Start unsubscribing right away!

What happens at the end of the 7 day pass?

When the 7 day pass ends you'll still be able to use Unsubscribe for Gmail but access to premium features will be stopped.

Any mailing lists you unsubscribed from are gone forever!

Are the emails permanently deleted?

When you use Unsubscribe for Gmail™, we immediately unsubscribe you. We follow the instructions provided by Change.org Petitions, so if they comply with the rules, you will no longer receive emails from them. These emails are permanently removed, even if you don't use our service again.
